There are always new things coming out that seem interesting but for many people they don’t serve as anything practical. This site is to try and help you understand how some of these things will actually make a difference for you.

Only tools, tips, and tutorials that make sense will be here for you to glean from. Each entry will attempt to answer the question “why should I use this?”

The Story of the Name

It’s actually a funny story — and a quite simple one. My wife and I rented an apartment for a few months in a place we’d never lived before and needed some basic things to live. She went out to a garage sale and was able to purchase a crazy amount of utensils for near nothing. When she brought them home, I counted it all up. For whatever reason, we had more spoons than anything else — 170 of them to be exact.

A spoon is a tool that isn’t always needed. However, there are some activities we do daily that need a spoon. The same thing is true of new technologies — these tips and tools aren’t always needed, but when used, they are quite effective of helping you accomplish your goal.

Hopefully some of these “spoons” presented here will make your life better, easier, efficient, and effective.
