This has been a great week for 170spoons.com - your best resource for tools, tips, and tutorials for technology. The website officially launched a week ago on Feb 29 with a bang and ended this week even stronger! Just over 400 people visited on opening day and by the next Friday more than 500 stopped by. Were you one?
Each weekend I plan to write a summary of the “spoons” shared from the week before. If you got this as an email from someone other than me (Rob!), you can subscribe to get the weekly eNewsletter.
After a warm welcome and subscription options, we covered many of the basics. We went over how to:
- get your documents organized
- get online safely
- keep your computer virus-free
- backup your files easily
- how to open a .docx file if someone emails you one
